We got our pictures taken.
We did math about Canada Geese. We drew 15 geese in a "V Formation" and wrote an equation.
We painted a background of our picture from the coulee.
We wrote in our journals today.
We have our own pencil cases with erasers and a pencil in it. It is ours for the year.
In P.E. today, we played a train game and worked on our planks.
Today we read "How to Read a Book" and we practiced the 3 ways to read a book. They are, read the words, read the pictures and retell the story.
Please look over the Student Demographic forms, make any necessary changes and sign the back before returning them to school.
We will acknowledge Orange Shirt Day on October 1st. Please wear an orange shirt to help us keep the discussion of residential schools happening each year.
The annual Eric Harvie Terry Fox Run is taking place on Friday, September 28. We are teaming up with Twelve Mile Coulee School and Tuscany School this year. Each school requires at least 45 volunteers. EHS requires 40 course volunteers who will be stationed along the course (with an option of running) and five food volunteers.
Please see the Sign Up Genius for information and to volunteer:
