Our First Week of School!
We truly enjoyed getting to know and reacquainting ourselves with our students this week. We played games to help our students and the teachers learn more about each other. We played some math games and did a math activity you could do at home if you have lego. Ask your child to about the lego tower building challenge. All you need is lego and 1 die. See who builds the tallest tower after 6 rolls. Use comparative statements to find out how many blocks different your towers are and challenge yourselves to find ways to use addition and subtraction with your towers. This week we also went into the school yard to practice journaling using our senses. The students found their "no one but you" spot and noticed the sights, sounds, feelings and smells around them.
Reminders:
Hand in your student medical forms and consent forms please!
