Today the students are bringing home their Read-A-Thon packages.  Please decide with your child on an appropriate amount of time that your child will read for each day.  Students are encouraged to find people to pledge them and the amount of money they raise will go toward our Learning Commons.

Tuesday - DEAR Day - Drop Everything And Read 
You can bring your favorite book from home if you would like!

Wednesday - Bring a book you have practiced reading and you can sit in the teacher chair and read to the class.  Please make sure it's a book that can be read in 5 minutes or less.

Thursday - Dress up as your favourite book character.  Don't forget to bring in your $6 if you'd like to have your photo taken in your costume.  Make sure you bring your book too!  Please don't go out and buy a new costume, see if you can make your own!  Feel free to use Ignite time to make your costume

Friday - Oral Storytelling - If you would like, you can practice and practice re-telling one of your favouite stories without reading it, just from your memory.  Practice telling with details and expression and a loud voice.
