I got to sketch a coke bottle during our 1 minute sketching.
In Math we were building numbers out of Base 10 Blocks. If I did 25 it would be 2 tens and 5 ones.
In my green journal, I made a book about gems but I didn't finish it.
I loved drawing a robot and a clock. I added a lot of detail on my v-robot.
I was reading an I Spy book. I had to find a creepy clown and a red-eyed bunny.
Outside today, I played with my friend Tara.

Math today was about getting to make a number and then go to someone else's number and we had to find out what number it was and then we wrote the number.
We sorted out colours from bins to colour on paper because we had a big bin we needed to sort. I liked doing that.
In gym we played "Frogs and Toads and Flies"
In a story we read, we were guessing what happens next. It is called predicting. Some of our guesses were right!
Christmas decoration orders are due tomorrow.

We have started using a RAN (Reading and Analyzing Non-Fiction) chart for our coulee inquiry project. We used cow poop as an example because it was something that no one could pick as it is not in the coulee.
During inquiry time, we picked a thing from the coulee and we wrote all that we thought we know about it.
In gym we played pass to partners.
Lunch was wet outside and there was snow on the ground.
We went to the gym and we played "Ships A'Hoy"
When we went outside for recess, some of us built a snowman.
Outside with Bradley and Miss Leask and Anatolia we built a snowman.
I chose a coyote for my inquiry. I am pretty sure that they are part of the K-9 family.
I chose garder snake. I wonder if they have a poisonous bite.
In math, we worked on number lines. It was fun!

Tomorrow is Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences and so is Friday
Tomorrow is a half day, students are dismissed at 12:00
Friday is no school
We had P.E. today and some people played basketball while others did the climbing wall.
We were bouncing the ball with our hands and I did it high and I caught it.
Today was our last day doing Zones of Regulation for Mountain View and Snowy Owl. We are doing expected and unexpected behaviours. Today during a story, Mrs. Le did some very unexpected behaviours. She phoned her mom, she layed down in the middle of the story, she was laying on the teacher. She was also yelling and calling out and doing unexpected things. It was pretty funny.
In Math today I did 10 frames. We cut paper and glued them in our book. I went up to 20.
After we were bouncing balls, we did bear crawl and backwards crab crawl.
We had Roots of Empathy and we saw our baby. Our baby's name is Austin. I was out of control because of the cuteness. It was so cute it was making me cry. I think she liked me.

Reminder - Book Truck tomorrow!
We would like to remind you that Thursday and Friday's conferences are student led so Kindness students are asked to accompany their families to the conference so they can share their learning with you.
Today the students worked on their All About...books where they added a dedication page and finished their front cover. The began writing Lepidoptera Facts as well.
The students all heard a story about a red winged bird in the coulee. They then wrote in their math journals about a tree with 100 leaves. We will continue to work in their journals on representing numbers using that word problem.
Mr. Kelly worked with the Kindness students to write 6 word poetry. The students interpreted our writing through body movement and vocal intonation. Homework from Mr. Kelly...Think of 5 word to describe one topic. Today's example...Mountains, Hiking, Avalanche, Pointy, Magnificent, Peaks
