Congratulations to the Kindness Pod!  We were the winners of the We Are Canadian Kids challenge and we will get to have a "Big Block" party.  We are proud of your hard work!

This morning the students started their day off with Ignite before moving into literacy.  Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Le and Mr. Simmons read a story by Nicolas Oldland, "Up the Creek".  The students shared stories of boating and discussed how the 3 animals needed to work together to accomplish their goal and wrote about the story in their journals.
Today we we got to enjoy the Peace Pod's Peace Assembly all about the seven sacred teachings.  We learned about what we can learn from animals and their virtues.
