Today the students participated in part 1 of the Just Like You program.  The students were taught about the importance of treating people with disabilities the same as anyone else. 

The Kindness Pod chose their favourite Napi story that they would like to retell with a group using puppets they will create in the next few weeks.  The students can practice retelling their story at home.  At this time they may not remember all of even many of the details of their story but over time they will work to add supporting detail, expression and a strong opening line.
