Apri10, 2019

The third day at the Glenbow Museum was a great success.  The students enjoyed exploring the museum and the downtown area.  Thank you again to all of the volunteers who helped out today!

Mrs. Le is still looking to fill a few volunteer spots for next week's Glenbow trip.

The students back at EHS continued to look at 2D shapes and are starting to look at how we can use 2D shapes to make 3D shapes.  For example, a rectangle prism has 6 flat faces (4 rectangles and 2 squares).  What 3D shapes can you find around your house?  What shapes are the faces?uld

Some of the students have been using their Ignite time to start some planting.  So far we have beens, sunflowers, tomatoes, wheat grass, and other flowers.  If you have any seeds you'd be willing to donate to our pod we would gladly accept them!

Mr. Der is teaching the students how to do safety shoulder rolls.

Today some of the students went into the Studio to inquire into materials that sink and float.  We started to build boats that we could take into the coulee next week to race.
