Today we started with literacy in our Open Mind groups. We all read different Napi stories. We are preparing for our Puppet residency that begins next week. We will be retelling different Napi stories using puppets that we will create with our Artist in Residence.
After a short snack and recess break we were very fortunate to have a visit from a Canadian author, Sheree Fitch. She read us some of her poems and answered questions for us.
We ended our week as a whole pod to vote on the WACK missions in the school.
As always, have a great weekend and come back on Monday. Also, please check the weather before coming to school each day and dress accordingly. If the opportunity presents itself, we will try to get to the coulee or out for community walks.
