April 30, 2019

The students have been working hard to prepare for their upcoming puppet residency which begins this Thursday.  We have read many Blackfoot Napi stories and students are deciding which story they would like to retell with their puppets.  Ask your child to tell you some of the stories and what the lessons are that we learn from the stories.

Our math groups which have been focusing on adding and subtracting strategies will continue to the end of the week and will then wrap up.

The Vivo group has been spending some time on the bouldering wall and talking about why physical health is important to our bones, joints and muscles.  They are also learning about why water is important to all body functions.  They watched a video that taught them that babies have more bones than adults and that the human body has over 200 bones!
